Pride and my second photo shooting

Unfortunately, I had no time lately to write blogs since I have been very busy and very tired every day and if I'm honest sometimes I forgot it too. I am sorry about that šŸ™.Ā

A lot has happened since my last blog here in Brighton. Last Saturday Julia and I went to Pride. Pride is a annual event held in Brighton where equality and diversity and advanced education to eliminate discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community is promoted. We stood under the famous Brighton Clock Tower where we had a good view of the street. It was really loud and the worst thing was the weather. It was really hot and I got a really bad sunburn. That day in Brighton there were more than 57,000 people but most of them were in Brighton because of the Britney Spears concert which was taking place in the Preston Park. The only thing I didn’t like about Pride were all the drunk people we saw on each corner. Besides that it was a really interesting day.

On Sunday Julia and I went shopping in the Churchill Square mall. We bought a lot of presents for our families. After the exhausting shopping we went to the beach to relax. We swam and laid in the sun for the rest of day. At 7pm we had supper with our host family and after the supper we played UNO with them. It was really funny because they played it for the first time.

During the week I did a lot of interesting things in my work. On Thursday I had my second photo shooting. My colleague Amira and I went to the beach and took some really amazing pictures. Even though I had to change my clothes a lot of times in toilets or cafes and had to pose in the strong sun it was worth it because we got some really good pictures which Jennifer loved. On Thursday we started the preparation for the Facebook live sales. We had to create Facebook Cover, Instagram Cover, Email banner, landing page, show schedule, number labels for the products and a lot more. We had to create 200 labels and cut them out which took me ages and my hand hurt.

Ā

But all in all it was a really exciting week full of new experiences. By the way I can't wait for the Facebook live sales as I will reply to the comments from the customers during the live video.
