Go out dancing? Not on a weekend!

Can't believe that it's been a week since I arrived. It still feels like it's been just a few days! And I can't even tell it's been a hectic week.

My work here is really nice, everyone is ready to help and some of the employees even told me that they have been to Austria before. The atmosphere is really nice, the only thing that is kind of exhausting is the part after the work - I need to find someone, who's also going from Alcalá De Guadaira to Seville, which is not very easy since not everyone works only till 3 p. m.

So far I've always found someone who'd give me a ride, but the guy that drove me last friday, set me off waaaayy too far from home - I had to walk for 1 whole hour to get back home!! Don't ask how I felt once I've arrived.

I usually don't really have a problem with walking long distances. I do that quite often, even at home in Austria and in Bosnia. But walking such a distance in about 36-39 degrees is quite a bigger challenge. Especially if your shoes aren't made to walk these distances!

The weekend was very relaxed. You can't really go out to dance on weekends since the clubs ARE CLOSED. I'm not sure how exactly this is supposed to work out to go out on a weekday but whatever. We (Julia and I) still have to try the bars here tho. Any recomendations from anyone who's been here?

Oh my goodness! Sounds like you’re getting on great, even if the journeys home each day are traumatic.
I really enjoyed reading your blog post. Thanks a lot, Selma.

Try La Bernarda Slow Bar, we've been there about three times a week last year.. but you definitely should work your way through many bars, just like the Spanish do
