The company
So, I've almost survived 3 weeks of work. The company I'm working at is called Cognitant, they provide Health information for different diseases in 3D. As they were only founded last year, they are still a very small company, but planning to expand. They are still developing new content and are still looking for new clients and orders. They are creating Videos in which one can see how a disease affects your body and how the medication works. They represent the drugs as Spaceships inside the body which attack the disease-causing-agent, which I (and everyone else) find quite amusing.
It's very interesting to see how they are creating these videos and their content in general.
I think is the best part about the company is, that they provide these videos in virtual reality, so you can watch them with VR glasses on and you are able to see the joint for instance from the inside. So, when I have nothing to do, I go on a rollercoaster or visit sharks underwater with virtual reality.
Cognitant is based in Wheatley, the same village I live in, so really nice that it is only a ten minutes walk from home. The office is actually pretty small, but still big enough for the 5 employees that work there. The area is called Business Centre and there are about 30 offices.
Trips
So, as I got the advantage of staying with my aunt, I get to do quite a lot.
Of course, I spent some time with my relatives on the weekends, we went into town for a drink and enjoyed ourselves. With my little second cousins we also went to a Circus, a musical and had a Picknick which was a lot of fun.
Last weekend we went to Dorset, which is on the coast. I enjoyed it there very much, as It's something completely different, compared to the office all week long. On my last week when I finished my Internship, we're going there again. Looking forward to that!
All in all, I am absolutely enjoying my stay here, but I am also looking forward to going home again in 3 weeks time.

Wow - so much information. The company sounds absolutely amazing. It’s hard to imagine the work they do. And staying with relatives must certainly have advantages!
I come from Dorset so I’m wondering which beach you went to???

I’ve just Amelie, Elena & Matilda the photo: you went to Durdle Door in the Purbecks. Where every single UK geography student ever has gone on a field trip! So beautiful. One of my favourite places in the world.
