Before I started my first day at Digitool (it's a marketing agency for cleaning businesses) I made a stop at the Stages office where I got instructions for my internship and everything around it. After that I had to find my way to work. To be honest it wasn't really difficult as Digitool has its office in the Spaces building which is right in front of Brighton Station.
Then I met my boss Daisy and her team, Tamarah and Joe. All of them were nice and humorous from the beginning.
I wasn't the only one waiting for them to show up. There was another intern from Italy who would have be working with me for five weeks.
First thing we did was sitting together at the roof top and talking about the things we're going to do in the next couple of
weeks. At this point I was thrilled to start working (never had that feeling when thinking about an internship) because of the promising tasks that Daisy gave me.
In the first week I did the usual "intern things" like research or writing letters (but thank god no copying and sorting data).
The second week started of quite interesting as I got an introduction to Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tags. Things I've never heard of but are essential for any business.
Then I carried on with writing blogs, mainly marketing related and designing templates for any social media quotes. These were basically the main tasks for week two and three.
However there were some exciting news at the end of week three. My boss decided to give me the opportunity to choose my tasks that I wanted to do for the last two weeks. So for now work is not only exciting but also really helpful for my further business career.
