How was the first week?

I learned very quickly that this island has a very humid and hot climate because you are constantly sweating but if I focus on the positive things there was not a single cloud in sight for a whole week. Our first 2 days at work were very confusing because the 2 employees that would be responsible for us didn’t work at the company anymore but after the first 3 days it was clear. Our work consists of getting pallets and loading and unloading various cases of drinks. In a warehouse without air conditioning. Not too thrilled about that but I thought to myself “Lets make the most of it”. At the agency’s meeting we got to know some German students and we have a WhatsApp group where we plan excursions. Which lead to our first one: St. Peters Pool. Which is a beach consisting of cliffs from which you can jump into the sea without any risk of hurting yourself. We went there after work, which ends at 5 and it takes about an hour home, so our trip was short. I am looking forward to the next weeks maybe our work gets better and how are night outs in Malta?

The work doesn’t sound good, it well done for making the most of it. The WhatsApp group is a great idea too.
