Gozo und Marsaxlokk

Gozo and Marsaxlokk

I can not believe that the last week of my internship has already started. The last three weeks flew by likenothing.
After waiting a whole week for my new update here it comes:
On Tuesday, there was a so to say Team building exercise. Me and my team (peoples operation) went to a pretty exclusive beach bar where everything was included from drinks to food. It tasted fantastic. On Wednesday there is nothing much to tell you about, so I am just going to jump forward to Thursday, which was a public holiday. On Thursday Sarah and I met up, the others had to work again, to go to imġiebaħ bay once again. It was too windy to jump into the sea but still really beautiful. On Friday I went to work, there was free lunch :), and did not do much apart from that.
On Saturday we went to Gozo to Victoria and the Dwejra Bay. In Gozo we went to the Zitadelle and in many really interesting museums. The sea at Dwejra Bay was amazingly beautiful but it took a really long time to go there and back to my hometown about 5 hours in total. On Sunday some guys from my host family, Sarah and I went to Marsaxlokk to a fishmarket and afterwards to St. Peters pool, in the south of the island. St. Peters pool is definitely a place to visit at some other time of the year. there were so many tourists, you could barely enjoy the place. I still tried the best and jumped from the "cliffs" a couple of times.
So far I am really enjoying the sun and my life here in Malta. So keep waiting for my next (and last) blog post from Malta.
Leo

It really does sound like a nice place to visit for some time, but the crowded beach at St Peter's sounds quite exhausting! Hopefully your last week goes by as easily as the last ones. Hello from Austria!

Well, the last week is on it's run and it seems, you're enjoying a great work experience at the Maltesian beaches :). Even you don't like so much sun, try to save these moments, because at home rain will be your daily companion! Hugs and krax from Salzburg!
