Last week and coming home
I am afraid this blog post is not coming from hot and sunny Malta but from Salzburg. Due spare time I did not find the time to write it back in Malta.
Now back in Salzburg the whole trip still feels really close (which also might be caused, by me coming home just yesterday evening after 10 hours of traveling)
The last week in Malta flew by, just as the 3 previous weeks, from Monday to Thursday I had to work. On Thursday evening me and some colleagues from my company went for some goodbye drinks, it was a really fun night. The next day was our closing meeting with Paragon (our Agency) at 3 p.m. so there was not much to do before that. After the closing meeting Max, Julia, Sarah and I went for some coffe and talked about the last four weeks, the new friends we made, our working places and the experiences we had on the island. In the evening I went back to Mdina, the city I went to at the second day on Malta, which is a really magical place especially at night and the view over the whole island is even better in the darkness.
On Saturday morning I stood up pretty early to go to Cirkewwa, the ferry terminal of Malta, to catch a ferry to comino together with the others. After we landed on comino we walked around the whole overwhelmingly beautiful island. Afterwards we went for a swim in the blue Lagoon. In the evening I said goodbye to all my friends at the host family and went to bed early to catch my flight the next day.
The 4 weeks in Malta were an awesome time, but even tho I am going to miss Malta and the new friends I made on the island I am glad to be back home and back to normal temperatures.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading my blog posts about malta and that I gave you at least a little insite about the life in Malta.
