Barcelona RECAP (Anita Athary)

Welcome to my third blog. This time I will not only go into detail with the family that we have created over the past two weeks, much more I will try to make an overview of what we have been able to experience and see so far.
Apart from all the memories that we have been able to collect, I must also add that the journey has come to an end for me by now.

Starting with the more joyful aspects…

In the past weeks we could get a really good impression of what life is like in Barcelona. Partly by playing tourists and seeing all the typical sights - „La Sagrada Familia“, „Gothic Square“, „Park Güell“, „Mercado de La Boqueria“, „Tibidabo“ were only some of them. Apart from that we tried to go to the beach, whenever the opportunity was given. In addition, we were able to enjoy the beaches and two cities near Barcelona which had been suggested to us by many coworkers. The cities which we made day trips to, were „Sitges“ and „Girona“ - both highly recommended.

We also made it to the theatre where we watched „My Fair Lady“ and went to two bars which were given the title „The Worlds’s 50 Best Bars“ - one being 19th and the other being rowed 26th globally.
All in all, we could get a really good insight into many aspects of what life is like in Barcelona.

Unfortunately I had to leave Barcelona a bit sooner than expected.
However, I was grateful to have been able to be part of such a great journey and to make those unforgettable memories.
