Bulgaria_Blog 2.0 & 3.0

These past two weeks passed by so quickly. But as you know they say that time flies when you are having fun. And rightfully so I had a fun time! One day friends of mine from the capital city came to visit me and I was indeed very happy to see them. I showed them around Plovdiv and after that we went to a Bulgarian restaurant with traditional food where we talked about the past.

A week later I decided to do the same and surprise them so I took the train and headed off to Sofia where I spent the whole day. I was happy to see old friends and visit my old school. Later on that day I decided to play tennis with a friend from Switzerland but stupidly enough I booked a tennis court in the most unbearable heat of the day. Nevertheless that was also an interesting experience I would not like to have again.

After my day in Sofia it was time to hit the road to Plovdiv again. I hopped on the last departing train and was prepared to spend the next 3 hours in a very boring way till I arrive. However then I met some people in the train and we started talking and the atmosphere was very pleasant. At the end of the day I had made a few friends more on the way.

Now that I am entering my last week I would like to end it in a bombastic way so stay tuned to find out in the next blog...
