My work placement in Dublin - Joshua

Hi, my name is Joshua and I'm leaving for Dublin, Ireland this Sunday.

With the help of an agency I managed to get a work placement at the DSPCA, the Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The DSPCA is the largest animal welfare organisation in Ireland and it exists to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals that are sick, injured or that have been treated poorly.

I'm really looking forward to my work there, as I love animals and am amazed by the work they do. On top of their shelter they also have pet boarding, a dog training academy and a dog daycare on their premises. Hopefully, I will get an insight into all of those departments during the month I am working there. However, I am especially excited to be working at the dog shelter and contribuiting to helping animals in need.

I can't wait to start my journey!
