1st week in Barcelona - Viktoria

Hi!

After our exhausting and already eventful journey to Barcelona on Friday the 1^st of July, me and my friends finally arrived at our Airbnb, after delayed trains, a delayed flight and delayed baggage disposal. During our first weekend in the new city, we explored Barcelona by foot and went to the beach to enjoy the sunny and warm weather. The sun is shining every day and almost no clouds can usually be seen. It is very hot during the day and even during the night its warm enough for a little stroll through the city which I cannot recommend enough. Then on Monday the 4th of July I had my first day at work at Kingsbrook Ideomas. I was very nervous in the morning but after I got to know the people and my workplace, I immediately felt comfortable. As Kingsbrook Ideomas is a language school, they offered me to participate in a Spanish course for the duration of the four weeks. For the remaining time at work I had to finish administrational tasks as well as assisting during workshops done by the organisation. Because of the international approach I was able to get to know people from all over the world. After work me and my friends either went to the beach and enjoyed the ocean or explored the nightlife of Barcelona.
